SOOC8 Reflections

Taken during today's round of golf.
Lovely blue sky. No such luck here, we can't see much blue here. We are getting some much needed rain though which may damped down the chance of bushfires in the near future.

I love the reflections on the water.

So the decision is - golf club or camera! Please don't get them muddled! We wouldn't see such a very nice photo!

What a beautiful spot!

I suppose my golf balls would all end up in this pool. Are there also divers at the field staff?
You see, I do not know anything about golf (just know that holes are filled with balls in turn).

A lovely view with those great reflections. It must be a bit tricky - concentrating on your shots and taking good shots!

@onewing We had at least three seasons during the four hours or so we were out on the course. Lucked in to a blue sky on this one.

@maggiemae Hahaha, I may be getting a tad ditsy but don't think I'd hitting a ball with my camera - yet.

@gilbertwood One-third total c--p, one-third so-so, one-third not too bad. Hope springs eternal, etc.

@skippysue Yes, we're very fortunate.

@fbailey Unless you've just seen your ball sail into that pond!

@jerome Rest easy Jerome, plenty of balls, including some of mine, do finish up in that pond. Strictly forbidden for golfers to set foot in this, or any other of the many water hazards on the course. Apparently, they have clay linings and tramping round in there would wreck those linings. Don't need divers, most of the water is quite shallow and we all carry extendible ball-retrievers in case you can fish out a ball you drowned. The only deep water is very deep and very dangerous, again strictly forbidden to enter. Les fell in there accidently and it took three of us to help her get out!

@jerome Probably best if you stick to mountains and me to golf! We can always swap war-stories.
