This is the notorious prison the Khmer Rouge created from a High School in Phnom Pen. Anyone who was sent here would have been better off killed straight away. I was so affected by the atmosphere of this terrible place I simply could not go into that building. It just felt like pure evil incarnate, and I could hear the screams of the tortured inmates resounding in my head. I waited on a seat outside while the rest of my group walked through the building. Note the wire mesh on the balconies to stop any poor soul who did escape diving off and quitting the world quickly and cleanly.
