Same storm, different camera

More of the sound and light show.
I can't get over how exquisite that landscape is! Where I live, we have NO clear line of sight to sunsets, sunrises or moon rises... This is like some kind of miracle!

@Weezilou I love that landscape too Louise but it's not where I live, more's the pity. My daughter and son-in-law have 70 acres or so for their horses here at Eppalock which is about half and hour east of Bendigo.

I knew you said you were visiting, but, like when we revel in the beauty near our daughter, up the coast, it's so great to even have the opportunity to visit! Truly like a vacation, isn't it?!

@Weezilou Absolutely right Louise. I lived in the bush for nigh on 20 years, nearest neighbour was 5 miles away, lovely clean light and beautiful sky. I still miss it. Both my kids live in rural areas and both are into farming, Robin (my daughter) really just plays with horses these days but has done her hard yards. My son Leigh lives in Swan Hill (pop.10,000) and still runs the 6000 acre family farm in between his overseas consultancies and being a director of Sunrice Australia (while living well over 1000 miles from where most meetings are held). He's only ever been happy when 110% busy.

That sky is rather special.

Great sky and light in the foreground

@graemestevens Nothing like a whole hemisphere of sky, something I had for 20 years. Sigh.
