FORF4- Textures and patterns #1

With the now very popular Victorian Open (golf) tournament about to commence at 13th Beach golf club the golf club's bar manager isn't taking any risks of running low on the amber fluid in what promises to be a hot week.
Like your pov and high contrast

@jgpittenger Thanks Jane. I used the TG-4 which I know you own too, I don't use it much but the quality of images always surprises me when I do pull it out. POV from sitting in a golf cart.

I like the symmetry, repetition and high contrast.

Nice one Marnie! Cheers! Lol!

@pamknowler Chin, chin!!
February 4th, 2019
@rosiekerr Thanks Rosie, that's the most beer I've ever seen in one place in my whole life!
February 4th, 2019
One certainly hopes seeing all those kegs that there will not be any shortage of the amber liquid. Well spotted.
February 4th, 2019
glad they're prepared and have their priorities right hahahaha
February 4th, 2019
Amber fluid? Ozy way to say beer? Does it cause dehydration?
February 4th, 2019
Perfect for the theme. I loved the repetition. Looks like it is going to be quite a party.
February 4th, 2019
Great light and patterns. Nice shot.
February 4th, 2019
@salza They'll take very good care there's no shortage of that essential!
February 4th, 2019
@annied Oh yeah, no way would they get that one wrong. Might run out of just about anything else, but not the beer.
February 4th, 2019
@yaorenliu Yep, that's Aussie for beer Yao. And yes, like all alchohol, it can contribute to dehydration especially if over-imbibed.
February 4th, 2019
@onewing Could well be Babs, could well be. We'll go out there on the Saturday probably, but won't be helping to empty any of those kegs!
February 4th, 2019
@haskar Thanks Haskar, I was lucky to spot the shot.
February 4th, 2019
Excellent, you won't die of thirst then! I winced when you said it was 104 F where you are.........I wilt at anything much over 70!
February 4th, 2019
Sam
Now there's a few beers in those kegs!
February 4th, 2019
Good to see such a well organized bar manager. And I really like your shot - great one for the pattern component.
February 4th, 2019
That's called so well prepared :)
February 4th, 2019
Going to be a lot of happy golfers/spectators!

@casablanca Just as well you're not here this summer. It's been OK down here in southern Victoria where we get cool changes after short hot spells. But all the inland has been sweltering with temps over 40 or even 45 degrees and up to 48! (104, 113 and 118 respectively) with long runs of over 40.
February 4th, 2019
@casablanca And some of our silly pollies still deny climate change and want to dig up more coal. I despair.
February 4th, 2019
@gilbertwood Gotta get the important things right, as you'd well know.
February 4th, 2019
@fbailey Better that than anyone can't get a beer!!!!
February 4th, 2019
Excellent shot for black and white- both the repetition and shapes create a strong pattern and contrast!
February 4th, 2019
@olivetreeann Thanks Ann.
February 5th, 2019
Great textures and patterns in this Marnie :)
February 5th, 2019
@merrelyn Thanks Merrelyn, I love this challenge.
February 6th, 2019
marnie, you're kicking asses with your pattern black and whites!
February 7th, 2019
@summerfield You're too kind.
February 7th, 2019
Great contrasts
February 14th, 2019
Love this shot. Perfect contrast.

Forgive my ignorance...what does FORF mean?
February 22nd, 2019
@deekjames Flash of Red February, a challenge that has been run for several consecutive years by Ann @olivetreeann, a 365er who's rather expert on things black and white.
February 22nd, 2019
@deekjames Thanks for the follow, much appreciated.
February 22nd, 2019
@golftragic well of course. I feel silly because I'm participating in flash of red February but had not put two and two together.
