The Dome

The interior of the Queen Victoria Memorial is very ornate and full of interesting architectural and artistic features.

@domenicododaro @merrelyn @angelikavr @paulacryer @olivetreeann Definitely impressive and huge, lots to see inside and out but hordes of people everywhere made photography a little tricky.

What an amazing sight. Bummer re all the people though

@jgpittenger Sure was Jane, so hard to get clear space anywhere to get decent shots, even of the dome and ceiling. Typical India, wall-to-wall people. Good to be back in Oz.

@golftragic, I saw an article about Photoshop on how to remove tourists from travel photos.
1. Set up your camera on a tripod
2. Take a picture every 10 seconds till you have about 15
3. Open all the images in Photoshop by going to File> Scripts> Statistics. Choose "median" and select the files you took.
4. Photoshop finds what is different and simply removes it.
I have yet to try this, but I do not have a tripod ;-)
@jgpittenger Thought you might be interested too Jane ;-)

@ludwigsdiana Thank you very much for that information Diana, I'll file it away for future reference. Unfortunately, I never use a tripod, mine has sat in the cupboard for years unused. I try to keep my gear to a minimum and as light as possible. I'm too old to lug around what I used to do.
