Replica of The Amity by gosia

Replica of The Amity

The Amity sailed from Sydney on 9th Nov 1826, carrying a party under the command of Major Edmund Lockyer, who had orders to form a settlement at King George Sound, now Albany, town in South part of Western Australia.
Great shot, love the perspective. I haven't seen the Amity in years!

@anazad511 Thanks, Ana. I hope Jeff is recovering from his illness. I will catch up with your photos soon.
And I actually travel to the most southwest point of Australia to photograph the lighthouse thinking of you. I will come out within the next couple of days.

@gosia Oh how sweet of you, Gosia. I look forward to see the lighthouse (and all the other pictures. Jeff continues the process, which will be very long; the doctors said that at least 9 months. Thank you for asking.

What a great shot and excellent perspective. Interesting history too.
I have checked out your photos over the last few days, but with our photo club exhibition I have been a bit short on time for commenting. Hopefully things will get back to normal again soon.
