... unlike the mouse ! am afraid i resorted to poison last night & feel like a hideous murderer but just couldn't face another evening hearing him/them frolicking around but refusing to set one paw inside my humane trap - locked ourselves in the bedroom with the cat last night & nothing but silence so far from the bougainvillea :o(
@888rachel@jrstanier@pamknowler - proof it survived :o) actually @jo13 he was hidden inside this huge fallen flower that i found at the side of the road & he peeped out while i was driving home = had to coax him back in :o)
@mercuria even as i loudly claimed "i'll never use poison', i think i knew i was lying ariel - brainless but intrepid this snail :o) i must go out today & try for a non-invertebrate/farmyard pic!
I stepped outside last night and stood on a snail!! Oh no what was it doing out at this time of year!! Yuk!! At least yours is still surviving!!
I hope you have soved the mouse problem because if there is a pair there will be a hige number very soon!! I had some under my stairs in my old house and it took a couple of weeks of them taking the poison and coming back for more each night for me to get rid of them. I never saw any bodies so i was never sure where they went to die!! Double yuk!!
@pamknowler sometimes after the rain i will start walking through a field and hear a crunch with every step i take! poor snails :o( couple of weeks!! - you must have had quite a few - i really hope it doesnt take that long pam
Really horrible when you get mice around the house! I have experienced a few...I know the feeling. This is a great shot. I really like the colours. The snail blends in so well!
