it is kind of rare to find this bird in our area. yesterday my friend posted a great photo of this bird on his fb page. when I said I wanted to see it too he gave me directions on where to find it. we went there today and the bird was not there, but before we left it flew in. so pretty to see.
so glad it was there. my 100-400mm lens is not fixable Canon said so had to use my 70-200mm for this shot. I sure do miss my long lens. wish someone could fix it.
Fabulous capture! Fav! Could you contact the lens manufacturer for the name and address of a repairman in your city? Or perhaps you could mail the lens to them to repair?
