Yesterday I was lucky enough to get a new toy in the form a very cool and slightly creep gas mask...I have several ideas for the use of this, one of which may well involve homicidal maniac activities. I have already successfully frightened the living daylights out of my 14 year old daughter and her friends. Much laughter was had by the adults.
The pyjamas and wearing of them for this shot were The idea of my lovely, tolerant, understanding wife, @kimkyra.
I am a confirmed and certifiable nutbar with a penchant for skulls, bones, blood, guts, fire and anything slightly peculiar and mostly bizarre. I also...
@ukandie1 I reckon it's got to be the pyjamas! And thanks very much :) @shawnasays Thanks very much :) @northy Now that just makes the whole outing peculiar. I like it. @mzzhope Thanks very much - they come from a shop over here called "The Warehouse"...Walmart for NZ but nice and cheap! @cailts Thanks very much - so many ideas for shots! @bigugly Thanks very much, much appreciated :)
I love a good homicidal maniac - I look forward to that hahahaha
I took a photo of a gas mask at the museum in Melbourne - I did think of you hahahahaha
@louuncouth They came as something of a surprise to me as well! @annied Quite possibly a possible possibility. We're off out tonight...in the process of "pre-loading" as we speak. Much like the healthy drink in your lunchbox...
Totally hilarious... sorry, did not mean to suggest that this lacks dignity. We have a gas mask in the house, somewhere, property of my son... maybe I shall seek permission to use it in the future!
Seriously, I really do like the lines on your jammies, the shadow behind you and the crouching. Very ominous.
@graemestevens was just looking at the bottle and think it would actually be worth my while driving to South Australia and collecting 10c refund on all my bottles hahahaha
@annied As are grapes...one of my five a day @beschnett Thanks very much, appreciated as always @rosiekerr I'm only crouch to get in frame - I couldn't be bothered arguing with the wide angle lens today, must get more practice in with it though! And thanks very much!
Man oh man love the pjs, ominous shadow, not sure about the gas mask. I do wonder if your daughter and friends are planning revenge. ( I know I would ) :)
@hermann They wouldn't stand a chance...I have fire and knives ;) @annied Damn straight...I just realised that Sam @gigiflower is going to have a field day with comments about these pyjamas - I should have gone naked!
@annied@graemestevens Duck me, what are those ducking PJs! They are so ducking wrong on so many fronts. And I don't even understand that gas mask! What am I missing? You are so ducked. And as for my meat pie, Ms Annie, my husband has just put the oven on for our half time pies, or more to the point - my 1 bite of the pie. I'm so ducking hungry tho that I might even go for 2 bites. Watch this ducking space.
@ounooi Thanks very much...watch this space ;) @julzmaioro LOL, don't know that I'm up to being a mentor but I love the theme! @annied Well, I'm not wearing anything under the pyjamas...and @gigiflower I don't know what the pyjamas are about and I don't understand the ducking gas mask either, but it made for an interesting ducking shot.
You have been raiding the attic...we have gas masks up there......the stripy PJ's are inspirational..you have a very understanding wife, good job she is a 365er too !
The whole effect is like a stripey beatle!
@newbank Guess what? I had HALF a pie!!! Which after I smashed the meat with the pastry so it looked like dog food, I think it was closer to 4 (small bites)! I'm very proud of myself. And tonight, I'm going to try a steak sandwich. Well at least half of one anyway!!!!
@newbank@gigiflower I am having a fish and vegetable green curry that my beautiful daughter put together for me while she was visiting because she knows I am a hopeless cook
Steak sanga woo hoo
@annied@newbank I'm on my way over Ms Annie, keep that curry warm for me!!!!! Yes, I just couldn't do that much meat.....my husband was proud of me eating half the pie (even tho he said it was a very small half)..........so pasta and red wine is on the menu now :)
@andy3168 Thanks very much @blueberry1222 I've been off it for some time ;) @roseolivia Thank you very much :) @bankmann Nit really, it's a bit Doctor Who-ish though I think, and thanks very much @kt8ird Thanks very much...I won't be wearing them again! @lilminimonka Thank you kindly, much appreciated @amyleewinfield Thanks very much :) @pinkpaintpot Thanks, it is a bit Doctor Who-ish..oops @newbank Not my pyjamas I hasten to add....they will never be worn again! @anazad511 Thanks very much, they got over it ;) @dibzgreasley Thanks very much :) @happypat Thanks...I think ;) @ceilidh Thank you kindly, have a fair few ideas...hopefully they work... @livvy Thank you kindly :) @jess1204 Thanks very much :) @brigette Thanks - you can have them if you want, they'll never be worn here again! @annied@gigiflower@newbank A conversation about pasta and wine? How mundane. If that's what happens when I'm not here...well, aren't we little rock n roll devils that live life on the edge! ;)
