Uninspired twaddle - it's Sunday and, as they say, I just can't be arsed. On that note, here is a bee busy pollenating the grapefruit tree. That would be the same grapefruit tree that insists on fruiting year round. The grapefruit tree that fruits so heavily that we cannot keep up. The grapefruit tree that supplies us with the world surplus of grapefruit cake, loaf and marmalade. The grapefruit tree that it is always advisable to walk under only when wearing a hard hat. And it's this bee's fault.

Twaddle it may be, but it's some of the best conceived and executed twaddle I've seen in a long while. I've spent the day searching my missing phojo, but I think I would have done better asking for a loan of your Twaddle Generator...
the fav is as much for the commentary as the image - ducking grapefruit trees is all I have to say - had one once - those god awful stink bugs fancied it as did the havoc wreaking cockatoos - the neighbours were the only one who enjoyed the fruit - needless to say the grapefruit tree is no more
Great bee shot. Always good when lacking inspiration. I used to own a grapefruit tree that was spliced with a lemon tree. We were never short of either.
That poor bee is getting a bad rap! I'd love to have a tree that produces grapefruit in abundance. Instead I have an ornamental pear tree that is worse than worthless. It produces and drops pears that rot and then my dog eats them and gets sick. So there! Maybe I should take a pic of that?
