jacks

I won't have time for a photo today as life, as it does, has exploded in my face. With that in mind here is another one that I prepared earlier.
I took this at the delightfully named "North Mole" beach in Whanganui while I was there on business last week - this portion of the coast seems to be a magnet for driftwood of all shapes and sizes.
this is awesome what cool textures

Like the giants simply stood up and walked away from their game. Well composed!

Hope the explosion does not have any bad repercussions! This photo looks like it exploded into driftwood itself!

Great pov and shot

Strong B&W image - I like this very much.

Another great shot. There's a stricken looking face to the right of the jack. Could tell it was a Graeme shot straight away..

Great shot, no matter it was earlier. I'm sure you are capable of time travel anyhow.

Sorry to hear life is exploding on you. Must be more careful when mixing matches and gunpowder ;-) Hopefully it will settle back soon.

@lizhammond It usually does settle again but today in articular was destined to be chaotic anyway - and, as always, thank you :)
@katrinanz So there is - well spotted and thank you :)
@vignouse Thank you very much :)
@jesperani Thanks very much - I was on my knees. Again.
@maggiemae The entire stretch of beach is covered with driftwood. This is quite a lightly "carpeted" area
@taffy Thank you very much, my thoughts exactly.

@888rachel Thank you very much :)
@shylaine3304 Thank you kindly :)
@yaorenliu It tends to do that here - the entire beach is littered with the stuff

Unusual 'thing' there on the beach, and may I say this illustrates life exploding in your face fairly decently :)

As if the oceanic chess masters scattered the board.

Drift wood and tree stumps have so much character. This one reminds me of how I feel at the end of some days. Bits and pieces..... Great light and detail.

I've just noticed that there's a carnival mask - middle right... cool.
September 6th, 2016
@vignouse Good lord, so there is.
@joysabin You and me both and thank you very much :)
@rosiekerr Well they can tidy it up then!
@kerosene That was the intention although I hadn't saved this shot for that purpose!

Lee
I see faces in images like this, and I see one on this driftwood.
September 9th, 2016
@gamelee That's one reason why I like the beach and driftwood - there's always something to be seen
September 9th, 2016
lol - great title - love that game - assuming I am seeing what you saw :)
September 11th, 2016
