Somewhat shockingly, this is best on black. Also (and it's driving me up the damned wall) it is not crooked. I've checked, double checked, triple checked, given the laptop a smack around the backside and even had Mrs. S (who I also smacked on the back side but for entirely different reasons) look at it and all the gods agree...it is straight, despite appearing for some reason as if it is slightly off kilter.

Rather disturbingly, this looks perfectly straight to me - which I expect says more about me than it does about the image... love the contrast between the soft processing and the subject... an almost-abstract that draws you in and then whams you in the face when you realize what it is

Never thought I would be saying this but I think I need to find a skull to play with! In my opinion it is straight, the off kilter look may just be due to the fact that the two sides are not perfect mirror images of one another.
