Sadly I think it will continue into 2017 to be honest. Given the concept of the "celebrity" really took off in the 60's with television finding i's way into everyone's homes and it has been growing exponentially since then. We now have people who are famous just for being famous not because they have ever done anything to merit their fame. . We just have far more celebrities these days than ever before, so there are far more to lose.
