Technically he's not "on" my beach so I can't kill or maim him. I did however spend some time scowling meaningfully at him as he slid by at a safe distance. I believe that because I'm very brave when it comes to this sort of transgression that I may have even muttered under my breath at one point.
I also seem to have found a level of colour that I'm comfortable with. Muted and dull.

You appear to have frightened him, judging by the splashing and active leg movements. ;) "Run away!" Your camera has some really good focus and clarity going on here. I like the muted color, too.

Very bold composition... but I think you got away with it. BtW, it was originally called parasurfing but with the introduction of an inflatable 'wing' to replace the parachute it's now called kite-surfing or kiteboarding.
Always wondered how these guys don't get their arms pulled off. Looks such hard work, though I imagine it's a lot of fun - providing your arms don't get pulled off that is! Great action shot. The kite (is that what it's called?) really stands out against such a dull sky?
