One of my favourite bands has always been Collective Soul - they certainly don't fit in to the "soul" genre though. There is a certain amount of meaning for me in a lot of their lyrics as I used to rock our now 18 year old daughter to sleep to their songs (and as a result have even had some of their lyrics tattooed on to my excellently white, pasty skin). I love how there is an unexpected bonus in 365 in the musical education it offers! Anyone with tattoos falls firmly into the tough guy category to me - just for the very process of having them. I was always too chicken to have pierced ears!

Great song and image too. I like how you are able to see this image in b&w, as it's something I struggle to do while at the beach on a beautiful day. But next time I go I'll give it a try.
