Loosely inspired by two books I have just read, both by M R Carey - The Boy on the Bridge and The Girl With All the Gifts.

Edit: Who am I kidding. I had an appalling day and can muster neither the enthusiasm or interest to create anything approaching an original image, so have this shit instead and let me pass it off as an original thought. The books were excellent though.
