'62

A 1962 Pontiac Laurentian, discovered in Canada and driven to LA before being imported to New Zealand by a friend, the intimidatingly name Reto Zuger.
We popped around today to have a look - it sounds and smells like a "real" car.
what an amazing beast

It does look pretty - but I wouldn't want to crash in one. ;)
Reto Zuger is a fantastic name - sounds like a character from Neuromancer.

Same age as the wife, I'm a year older. Would I be showing off saying they made better stuff back then? No #£%* I'm saying it.

@jack4john It's true - I'm a 10970 myself and fairly confident that I'm more robust and long lasting than any of the modern models...

Oh gosh, just seeing that beast takes me back to the '60s and '70s. There were some beaut cars around then. Did you get to drive it?
