As I was wandering around looking for a shot for today this bird buzzed me and then politely posed on the branch for me!

Wow....nice and close with you zoom. I still have a hard time getting close to birds in nature.....I need to go to my Audobon preserve again soon.

He probably buzzed you because he saw you with your camera and couldn't get your attention any other way... "Hey, lady... I'm here... ready for a portrait... hello... OK, then, I guess I''ll have to get her attention another way." Very nice shot with the branches kind of random and the beautiful soft focus green in the background... :)

What is this bird!? I have tried using whatbird.com which is usually so good at picking out what bird once you answer what type beak, what colors, etc...but I cannot find this one! We may need to ask Hudd or someone else who shoots mostly birds. This is a great capture, Katy! And a mystery.
