My neighbor asked me if I wanted some irises last year. I said sure. We had lots of irises in our garden as I was growing up and as I got older I decided I didn't like them for some reason! I have come full circle on that and now marvel at their beautiful symmetry. This is one of the ones my neighbor gave me.
@eudora Thank you so much! Ummm neglect?! I have no idea! I must confess I was a little surprised to see these blooming already and I have another bunch that is already done! I thought they bloomed a little later too.
What a beautiful shot, Katy. Love the detail and colors. We sure have all learned a lot being on 365 and appreciate the beauty in so many things that we took for granted before. We are definitely blooming here but I have no flowers in my yard. I also have to catch up. I have a photo of a bud from a few weeks ago. Have no idea where I took it.
