As an early Father's Day gift my husband got to drive a Porsche 911 GT3 around a real race track in Atlanta for three laps. There was an instructor in the car with him but he was doing the driving. What a story.....what a day!
Fun! Our Boy Scout Scoutmaster did this in Charlotte. He loved it. I'd pity the instructor who would ride with my husband. He already drives like he's trying to win a race.
He had an absolute blast! She did not say that I took a practice ride with a pro driving. I've raced a great deal in my life and thought I was good. This guy actually got me nervous! We hit hairpins at close to 100mph!
