I spent all morning on the computer with the thought of finding something to photograph after lunch. I picked up granddaughters from an activity and took them home and forgot to bring the camera. I heard thunder and remembered I still hadn't taken a photo so ran outside hoping to get a decent shot of all the new mushrooms in the neighbor's yard. I stopped to pull a few weeds and saw this delightful little fungi peeking out from some border grass. I still made it inside before the rain came down in buckets.
