A lot of work went into covering the frame and making all of those little flowers and leaves out of paper to attach to the base. I will treasure it always as a symbol of our friendship.
oh, i'm sorry, i didn't see this right away! just to be clear, this was my sister's handiwork, not mine. i don't have the patience for those little thingies. she made everything from recycled cardboard for the frame, to the tiniest cut flowers. i'm glad you liked it enough to post a photo. btw, the sentiment in this instance is true. :-)
@summerfield I knew you would see it sometime so no worries about the timing. I also know your sister made it but felt that wasn't an important part of the story for others to know! I did feel they needed to know of all the effort that went into it though! I didn not realize she MADE the frame too! I am very impressed With her skill. Please tell her how much I love it!
