On the screen door to my bedroom today was this perfect seasonal decoration! I have no idea what kind of a bug it is but am really glad it was on the outside!

It's a Stink Bug! Glad it was outside and not in. Your sister's right- if you smoosh them they give off a repulsive smell! Good silhouette shot for the present season!
