Nov. 9 Thankful For...

... central air which enables comfortable sleep.

The temperature made it to 78F/25.5C today in this northern hemisphere town in the second week of November! I have been spoiled by temperature controls that so much of the world has no access to.
Another one we too often take for granted.

Neat putting this on a white background! I really wish we had this though I would want it a lot colder than 25deg C!

Oh yes, I can understand that! Our February is such a sweltering month ad I could not do without it.

I agree - and having a new unit (1 year old now) has really made me appreciate the efficient system.

Love AC in my car, I think lots more houses in uk will start to get it as well as central heating for winter

I like my AC and heat too. Warmish here, but resisted putting the air on. Actually it was warmer outside than inside.

I have been enjoying this warmer November while it lasts. We've even had the windows open a few days. No central air for us, but fans and one air conditioner do keep us cool in the summer so we're thankful in a similar way.

We had warm weather till it turned cold. Typical of where we live. We went from t-shirts and shorts for a lot of folks to long pants and long sleeve shirts with a vest or jacket. 31 degrees this morning in No Calif.

@shutterbug49 it is easy to do!
@dutchothotmailcom thanks Esther I am sure you can relate
@summerfield LOL! It might be!
@maggiemae Thanks MM That is the daytime temp. I keep it lower at night!
@ludwigsdiana I used to live where it wasn't necessary because it would cool down at night but not anymore!
@linnypinny ooh there is nothing nicer is there?
@30pics4jackiesdiamond It isn't necessary if you live where the temps cool off at night but that isn't the case here
@randystreat I tolerated the last two nights but decided I needed it cooler to sleep and it also helps with the humidity
@olivetreeann When I lived in Washington state we only used fans because it got cool enough at night that leaving the windows open would cool the house for the next day
@darsphotos Wow! that is cold. Last week we got close to that but it has warmed back up this week

And amen to that!

@marilyn Thank you! The older I get the more thankful I am for this blessing
November 11th, 2020
LOL! How did people survive in the South without air conditioning?
November 15th, 2020
@eudora I have never been able to figure that out!
