I have a friend who can't taste her food anymore although she can still sense texture. It just seems like eating would be such a chore under those circumstances.
kill me already if i won't be able to taste anything. i have a friend who has been suffering from lime disease for years and with all the medication she has had, she's lost her sense of taste and smell. but boy! could she play the piano!
I can think of other things I'd regret loosing more BUT taste certainly is something that brings great pleasure so it'd be hard to live without it. I sure would like to taste those!
My sister in law can't taste either -or smell! Two great pleasures lost. Particularly with something like these beautiful cookies which look home-baked!
