The last time I did a 30shots project I didn't do a complete shot until the end. I didn't want to make you wait that long this time since I tried to keep it a guessing game at the beginning. Many of you were on the right track. This is my embroidery/sewing machine.
I will list the parts we have seen so far.
1. Pre-Tension Thread Guide
2. Built In Tape Measure
3. Embroidery Unit Socket (Unable to see at this angle)
4. Bobbin Winding Thread Guide
5.Thread Tension for Bobbin Winding
6.Bobbin Winder and Thread cutter
7.USB Embroidery Stick (transfers designs from computer)
8.Thread Tension Discs and Take Up Lever
9.Embroidery Hoop Attachment
There are still plenty of details left for me to photograph but they would have made it easy to identify my subject. Thank you so much for making this fun for me by playing and I hope you will continue to enjoy the rest of the month.
Ahh, thank you for the reveal! I do have one of these though not this brand. I did have an inkling that this could be it.... Very fun to try to guess. I am sew looking forward to more pictures. Maybe some embroidery designs or projects.😊
i knew it was about sewing. remember that i was hunting for a sewing machine last summer for my sister and i was surprised at the range of 'auto' sewing machines. it was quite a feat to have found the "old fashioned" singer at amazon. gheez, this one i wouldn't even know what to do apart from plugging it on the wall socket!
@shutterbug49 Not my grandmother's either. THAT was treadle machine I feel certain and it IS the one I learned on! I am so glad you are enjoying this and plan to continue. @dutchothotmailcom Thank you so much Esther. What were you thinking it might be? @milaniet I am so happy you guessed Thank you Milanie @wyomingsis You are the smart sister! @johnfalconer Oh, John there was definitely a learning curve and after several years I still haven't practiced everything it is capable of doing! Thank you @madamelucy I had the impression you knew what it was. This is something I did on it 5 years ago for a friend that was like a granddaughter to me https://365project.org/grammyn/365/2016-04-24 @monikozi They are made in Sweden and really are a very complete machine @ludwigsdiana I have one that just embroiders and it is also very old but still working well. Thank you Diana @30pics4jackiesdiamond I thik it is smarter than I am I am so glad you liked them @Dawn I am so glad you figured it out Dawn thank you! @louannwarren I appreciate that Lou Ann and yes I do most of the time. Every now anf then something will go wrong and THEN it is not so much fun to try and figure it out! @linnypinny LOL! I know that feeling! I was afraid to use it for a month or two after I got it for Christmas several yers ago! @summerfield I thought you might know! I do remember that and it is almost impossible to find "simple" with anything these days. @randystreat Very smart of you to figure it out Thanks Kathy @serendypyty Oh, I am so glad you guessed. Thank you for appreciating the numbering too @myhrhelper that surprises me! What did you think it was? I recently did burp cloths, a tag blanket, and some other baby items for a great niece. I seem to work in spurts and then do nothing for a while. Right now l am in a "nothing" mode!
@grammyn Thank you for sharing your project. Beautiful! Aren't these machines fun? I too go in spurts, right now a nothing spurt too. I may just gather some of my projects up and make a collage for a photo...
I knew it! (Though had moments of doubt) Once I googled “embroidery machine” I figured you must have one of those suckers. Really fancy thing. Amazing! I really do admire those of you who sew. My sister does. I have no patience for it whatsoever.
@madamelucy I actually have two machines that embroider. One the only embroiders in this one. I do lots of my smaller projects on the other machine because it is easier. I would love to see some of your projects in a collage. You are so talented I’m sure it will be spectacular.
@mcsiegle LOL! I tried to keep it complicated and unguessable so I am impressed that you knew. This one actually does much more than I will probably ever be able to use it for. I am a bit of a lazy sewer and don’t have the patience to do really good work either! I get by.
I have been out of town, but had fun going through your pictures and trying (unsuccessfully) to guess. You are nice to diagram your previous shots for us! That is an awesome looking machine. I was looking at new ones this year and decided they were too complicated for me. Actually, every time I think about it, I am mad at myself for not keeping my first machine, a Singer Featherweight portable.
@eudora i’m so glad you enjoyed the challenge Diane! I wanted to make it easier in this reveal for you to know what you have been looking at. I still have the first singer my husband bought me although I don’t use it. I feel certain it still works. it may go to a grandchild if anyone expresses interest in sewing. @kwiksilver aren’t you the smart one?! I’m glad you stuck with it. I’m glad you appreciate seeing all the different pieces in this complete shot.
Great idea and well done.
