In this photo the machine is set for embroidery and it tells the hoop size, number of stitches, (13709) color changes, design height and width and shows the chosen design, in this case something l designed for my friend Mary for Christmas in 2019 It also shows the required presser foot , stitch length and width, stitch design and fabric type when set for regular sewing.
@dutchothotmailcom My grandmother taught me a little about hand embroidery when l was young and my daughters got me hooked on machine embroidery when I was old! @lesip LOL! thanks Leslie @madamelucy They truly are mind boggling! I hope to see some of your work soon @shutterbug49 It is really fascinating to watch. The first few times l was in awe of turning it on and having the machine do all the work while I watched! @louannwarren It really is unbelievable @taffy Thank you Taffy. There is so much to this one I will probably never use it all @ludwigsdiana Thanks Diuana There is still lots I don't know about it but I manage OK @mcsiegle sort of. There are thousand of designs that have been digitized for sale or for free and then I have a program that can process those designs much in the same way as we edit our pictures so not really any higher math skills required. Zero art classes while finishing my degree either. @linnypinny You could. It just takes patience and a bit of stubbornness! ;~} Thanks
It must take a lot of training to figure this out. Do you use patterns already designed or make up your own? @mcsiegle I see she's already making you a Christmas gift. Aren't you lucky.
@randystreat LOL! this was not for Mary as it was before I followed her. It has taken a bit of learning as I am technologically challenged as you well know! Mostly I use already created designs but sometimes I use already digitized designs and alter them to create my own.
@lesip LOL! thanks Leslie
