Hoops by grammyn

Hoops

These are the three embroidery hoops my machine uses. I almost never use the largest one because I struggle with keeping the fabric hooped tightly enough and I don't have the patience to stitch out designs that large. I use the middle sized one most often. It is the one I used to stitch out these https://365project.org/grammyn/themes-and-comp/2016-07-28 and these https://365project.org/grammyn/365/2015-03-04 and this https://365project.org/grammyn/365/2014-10-11
What a selection of hoops! I think I wouldn’t use the big one either. (although of course, as we know, I wouldn’t use any of them) The examples of your work are adorable!

I had not seen these samples of your machine embroidery before. You have had lots of opportunities to do this. It's odd they chose to make the "hoops" rectangular rather than the traditional round shape.l

It just amazes me that a sewing machine can embroider now! You've made them look very artsy.

I have missed almost a week of your pictures. You are a tech genius in my opinion. Also a great photographer.

@mcsiegle LOL! So very nice of you to say Mary thanks
@randystreat I have been doing it for years Kathy. The hoops are rectagular because they attach to a bar (#9 https://365project.org/grammyn/365/2021-04-10) that does all the moving and a round hoops would be less stable
@dutchothotmailcom It makes a difference and is very nice to have options
@summerfield there are only three but two parts toe each one!
@Dawn thanks Dawn for that support!
@monikozi I wanted to show there are two parts to each one but it is a bit confusing!
@madamelucy I really appreciate that Terri and you should
@ludwigsdiana there is really only three but they each have two parts so it looks like a lot.
