Maybe the most important part of the whole machine is the power cord on the right and the on/off switch on the left. The cord in between them goes to the foot pedal which I never showed you.
Yes a much needed part. I cannot even imagine, as much as I love sewing, having to use a pedal for the power or a hand crank. I probably would not have pursued it as my leg and hand would probably have fallen off....
So necessary! I used to have an old treadle machine that we used as an end table, but occasionally I'd try to sew on it. Treadling was not as easy as I thought!
