One of Three by grammyn

One of Three

When I went to workout this morning there were three geckos by my porchlight. The largest, actually on the light, and two smaller ones on the wall. I watched the one on the light catch a moth and saw the dust from its wings fly out of his mouth as he consumed it . This one and the other were much smaller and I saw no bugs small enough for them to eat at the time.
The tail and the arms and legs (or legs) seem almost translucent the way they are catching the sun.

Pretty smart to hang around the light for dinner.

@randystreat Not the sun but the porch light! I noticed that about their legs as well!
@mcsiegle I thought so too!

Love the composition and color coordination of this photo. Not so much the critter factor!! You have too many creepy crawlies in your world for me!!

@lesip We seem to have a lot of them lately! they aren't as stately as deer or as intriguing as a fox but they will do for a photo subject!
@linnypinny Thanks and I am sorry if this one did that
@tunia I think so too
@serendypyty I am guessing you probably never will Cazzi! "They are restricted to just a few places across England and can be found in Dorset, Hampshire, West Sussex and Surrey on heathland at dune sites. There is also an isolated population resident at the Lancashire coast at Sefton" thank you though!
@louannwarren There really is a lot of variety in the critters around here Thank you Lou Ann

Well, I may have kept walking- but would have been amused slightly by the one on the light. We all know how well I deal with reptiles and certain amphibians that look like them. (o:
