I got a passable shot of the eclipse this morning before my workout, but on the way home I almost wrecked the car because I quickly turned around when I spotted this by the same ditch as I got my pink sunrise shot the other day. With moments to spare before it sunk below the treeline I was able to get in the right spot for two or three handheld photos.
@milaniet thank you so much! I was amazed when I saw it in the perfect spot for a photo. @wyomingsis at that time in the morning there is really very little traffic so it was not an issue but I was stunned when I first saw the moon peeking through that V! @louannwarren thank you so much Lou Ann. I really was not expecting it to still be visible
@lynnz thank you very much Lynn @shutterbug49 that was the part to caught my attention too Debbie. @summerfield i’m so glad you think so Vikki. Thanks! @mcsiegle LOL! Thanks Mary! Actually there was almost no traffic so I may have exaggerated just a bit! @suez1e I really appreciate that, Sue thank you so much! @netkonnexion I really appreciate you taking the time, thank you so much. @darylo wow! I’m so glad you think so! Thanks bunches, Daryl! @ludwigsdiana LOL! Thanks Diana I think the placement of it is what almost caused me to stop in the middle of the road but since there is very little traffic that early in the morning there really was no danger! @marilyn LOL! Mostly I just almost stopped in the middle of the road because of what I saw and it took a second or two to process that I could pull off the road and turn around and go back to get the photo. Thankfully no traffic made that less dangerous than I made it sound! Thank you for your kind words about the photo! @wakelys thanks Sue! They really appreciate it exclamations @monikozi I know, right? Fortunately it was early enough in the day that there was no traffic so it really wasn’t an issue and thank you so much for your kind comments! @lesip LOL! I love you for remembering! Very few other people know how serious that might have been! Truthfully the lack of traffic made it much saber than I made it sound! I’m so glad you like the photo because you do such a marvelous job with your full moon shots! @digitalrn i’m so glad you like it Rick thank you so much @randystreat Me too Kathy! The reason I had it was I was hoping to get a shot of the eclipse but in the end I think this one was a better shot! I got very lucky with the placement! @jayberg that’s a wonderful thing for you to say! I’m so glad you like it! Thanks for taking the time Jay! @gijsje Hownice of you Bep. Thanks for that FAV too! @serendypyty I was feeling the same way about that moon Cazzi! Thank you so much!
