Most of the 150-200 florets on this dandelion are already gone, blown off by our mild winds today. If they landed in my yard that means a plethora of dandelions later this year. Maybe they went further away
Lovely soft seed heads. Plethora is right. We sprayed our lawn last autumn and in spring there were no dandelions. Now there are dozens - those golden heads popping up everywhere!
@maggiemae nothing seems to stop them and thanks @joansmor I appreciate it Joan @casablanca You are right thank you @farmreporter how nice of you to say Wendy @serendypyty I agree they are great for photographing but not so great for gardening. Thank you Carole @olivetreeann We used to eat the leaves when I was a child but haven't done that in years. Thanks Ann @corinnec You give me qway too much credit Corinne. I walked out in the yard and this is what I saw. I did walk around to find a good angle but that is all I did. Thanks so much @shutterbug49 I am so glad.
