In A Jam by grammyn

In A Jam

Not having the proper anatomy for many of Tillmans' photos, I searched until I found one that would work for me. http://www.artnet.com/artists/wolfgang-tillmans/untitled-jam-FRmatl6Cwbbfr0EVX6Pyqg2 Tell me if you think it works
I really like your representation of Tilmans work. I think that you could teach him a thing or two.

It certainly matches that piece of work - but I can't see the point of it really - what does it mean? I'm a bit like that with a lot of modern art!

Oh yesssss! Perfect rendition of that work. His stuff is wierd,

Definitely works! Now I want some raspberry jam on toast! 😆

You nailed it! I liked the odd combinations in his still life pictures (didn't like any of his other stuff, but the still life work was interesting.) Well done!

Thats a very good representation

I love your spin on his photo… the same but enhanced. The colors are brighter, the jars are fancier, the branch is larger and the tablecloth adds texture. Well done!

Well done Katy, what a great eye you have for detail!

Wonderful composition!

i was off to see the rest of his work to see if i can put in a post, but then i remembered i am hosting this segment 🤣. this definitely works.

@olivetreeann - ann, i, too, don't like his other stuff but i thought his still life photographs were quite interesting and would be easy to emulate for the challenge, that is why i specified in the challenge to only look at his still-lifes. 🤣

A modern version since I don't think they see baby food in those jars anymore.

@wakelys although it is perfectly lovely to hear I think you might be exaggerating just a bit! Thanks anyway
@maggiemae thanks Meagan me and for me it means I was busy in the kitchen making jam!
@30pics4jackiesdiamond how nice of you to say Jackie. I agree about his stuff being weird.
@wyomingsis thanks bunches and I hope you had some jam!
@olivetreeann thanks so much,Ann. I agree with you about his work
@kjarn I really appreciate that Kathy thank you so much
@marilyn so nice of you to say all of that. I don’t have any baby food jars anymore so I had to use the fancy ones and I was somewhat limited in the availability of the branch as well.
@ludwigsdiana what a truly nice thing to say Diana. Thank you so much
@jacqbb thanks Jacqueline. I can’t really take credit for the Composition I just tried to copy his photo.
@madamelucy i’m really happy to hear that you think so Terri. Thanks
@tunia thank you Tunia.
@rensala no credit earned for that Renee I just copied his photo. Thank you though
@summerfield lol! Now you’re starting to sound like me. I have forgotten a contest or two that I was running before. So glad you like this one. Thanks for the challenge
@randystreat I was lamenting that very same thing Kathy. They used to be so useful for so many things

@summerfield It was excellent advice and I was very appreciative of it! I did like his still life work- I liked the quirky things he'd throw in them that looked like they belonged until you took a really good look at what was actually there- hence the inclusion of hot sauce with my dessert pic!
