Hi Granagringa - just saw this on your photos - it is just a lovely abstract that appeals to me so much. All the gorgeous tones of brown - and the chance to read into it whatever you like. - I see a fractured city profile. Congratulations!!!
@robz I'm glad this caught your eye...are you congratulating me on my foray into processing? It was quite fun...but I feel as if I'm cheating....lol. Certainly a good way to make a very mediocre shot a bit more interesting, at least to me. lol.
@granagringa I don't think of it as cheating - but not many of my photos are very high quality. And I truly believe that an editing program is only as good as the eye of the person using it!! It sort of gives you a second chance to turn a photo into what you wanted, or something completely different. As you said - it is fun!! And addictive!! So, yes - congratulations on your foray!! Great result. :)
@robz It really isn't cheating...it's its own art form....I've just not gotten there yet..and I'm soooo old school. You, on the other hand...are the artist in this category!
@granagringa Please don't think I was being defensive - I just do all of this for fun - no hang ups here. I was just reflecting on your feelings of cheatiness! You know - I think between us we'd make one absolutely, awe inspiring, out of this world, amazing photographic artist!! :)
@cjphoto Cool that you liked this effect...I don't do a lot of this kind of processing, as you know. This was a convex mirror and street scene, so background was the material as that which was reflected. I'm pleased with the results (original was really boring :(,,,,so this saved it :)
