@robz The key to these zoom burst shots seems to be how quickly you zoom....whether to keep the image identifiable or really make it abstract...trial and error is the other magic formula!
@granagringa Do you zoom by physically moving the camera or can you zoom with the dial on your camera? (Is that even possible?) I find it hard to move smoothly - as you say it may be easier if it's not so quick. Lots of trials guaranteed!! Lots of deletes too!! LOL Thanks for the help. :)
@robz A bit delay, but here I am getting back to you on zoom burst...I have never tried it by moving the camera...either using a zoom lens or, on the point and shoot, the zoom feature. The times I've moved the camera was either vertical or circular for those intentional camera movement shots, but not for zooming But you can do anything...and when I say you, I literally mean you.....:}
@granagringa Aww Madelaine - your encouragement is wonderful!! You are too kind! And thank you for answering my question - my point and shoot doesn't have a zoom feature ( I just checked after reading your reply) so it looks like it's just more practice. I'm determined to keep my little camera though - I can just take it everywhere. Will have to "make do!" Cheers and thanks again.
