I'm not getting on here as often as I had been, but still here and will try to catch up on viewing and commenting as often as I am able these days. Thanks always for your comments. they help me work on being a better photographer! And keep me inspired.
I think this counts as macro because it included the use of an extension tube...or is it "just" a close-up?
It looks very, very close-up - and yummy! Is there actually a definition for macro - or does it just mean "bigger than real life" An interesting thought - might need to do a google search.
I had a look - here's what it said: "Macro photography is extreme close-up photography, usually of very small subjects and living organisms like insects, in which the size of the subject in the photograph is greater than life size" :)
@robz Thanks for the definition...actually I was aware of that...seems as if we get more close-ups than actual macros. and I'm glad you thought the jam looked "yummy"...that was the goal!
@jodies@haskar@leananiemand@leananiemand thank you for commenting on my "jam" shot...this was one I took some time with to get the light and viscosity, so especially nice to get your comments.
