My 14-year old nephew has taken up wrestling..what a challenge for me to shoot his match...very grainy with the high ISO in the school gym...had set the camera to shutter priority. Fun to shoot and of course, this one was at a stationary moment anyway!
My son wrestled in high school too, such a tough sport, but builds great character. I can totally appreciate the difficulty of getting a good shot! Going with b&w is the best way to go!
Poised for further action. Good moment, well done! I like the grain.. I guess you should get some at ISO 10,000 even with the Sony. Cheaper perhaps (and more fun) to buy an old film camera and some Tri-X 400 film .... you might get even more grain if you got a shot at all in the low light conditions.

The graininess tends to give it a bit of a vintage feel which seems to suit this composition. It must be a bit stressful to watch your nephew - it seems such a demanding sport!
