I do like the yellow/green streak of blur running horizontally in the centre. And also the blur in the lake. The colours work for me too. I wonder if this would work best if there was a static object in the foreground? or if it was somehow framed to give the impression of the landscape passing by as you travel in a vehicle.
I like it as it is - the movement appears different in different sections and the colours complement each other nicely because of the reflection. It's a nice abstract, :)
@ribbet9 Hi...I thought about cropping too...the horizon line is too centered...but hadn't decided to crop bottom or top. lol Thanks for suggestion. @ethelperry@robz thanks so much..glad you like my experiment here. I did too! @helenhall Interesting thought...not sure how'd I be able to put something static in as I am the one panning the camera. hmmm...will have to think on it...and also whether it would change the mood and "impressionism" of it. Thank you all for your thoughtfulness!
I quite like it but I do think there is a bit too much movement. IMHO a good abstract should give us a clue, while still keeping those who are so inclined wondering.
