Mannequin light study - Light from Below

A continuation of my review of light direction and the effects it has. This exercise continues with one subject and one lens. Hopefully this will all make me more conscious as I go along and in the meantime still give me some interesting images. That's the continuing plan, anyway. Inspired by Emma Davies "A Year With Your Camera" course. Thanks always for your visits, comments and inspiration.
I'm learning a lot from your series!!

@30pics4jackiesdiamond Thanks, Jackie...I think it's all stuff we already know, but for me it's a good refresher course and a good push. Glad you're getting something from it, too. Thanks a lot.

@robz Hi...ah the mystery lighting session..actually the secret is two "towers" of tissue boxes with a "valley" between them...the towers and valley covered with a black cloth and resting on the "towers" was a piece of glass from a frame. That formed a shelf for the mannequin to rest on. I brought the cloth up in the front of the glass and the off camera flash (or any other light) was placed under the glass pointed upward. Simple and cheap...to say the least! And thanks for asking and commenting and being here.

@shutterbug49 Hi, I'm finding the changing light angles to be interesting as well, or in some cases, like direct front light, not so much. Glad you're enjoying this. Thanks for letting me know.

@jgpittenger Thanks, Jane. I'm glad to think you're getting something out of this too. It's certainly making me a bit more conscious and challenged to see if I can get more artistic as I go along.

@farmreporter Thanks so much for the good words and the fav. You know, sometimes the visualization actually sort of works. And the planning just falls into place...ok still some trial and error but sometimes it all falls in to place!
