Flooding on the River

Yep, the river really is high! This bench actually is on a bit of a knoll that usually overlooks the Willamette River here in Salem, Oregon. Now it looks as if it could be a diving platform!

Oh my, is it high! We had to wait for the tide to go down last week when we were driving home from Eugene and the river’s tidal flow covered the road

We are fine, the river had only overrun the banks where it was low...altho many homeless campers had to relocate, we are housed comfortable high above the flood waters.
