Afternoon Snack - no reflector

Still-life 2...this one with natural light coming through a south facing window on an overcast afternoon. I hadn't used reflectors before so wrapped a large clock with aluminum (tin) foil and balanced it to the left of the apple and across from the window. The reflector really does make a huge difference! This is not nearly as nice.

Obviously the composition is the same and it is a well balanced one too. But it does not quite work. Compared with the other version it is dull/dead/lifeless.. that little bit of light works wonders..
