Mill by grannysue

Mill

This is some sort of mill, not sure what it was used to grind, perhaps corn or sorghum cane. My husband's parents will know, but I keep forgetting to ask them! I added a bit of HDR, but I am not sure if I like it or not.

Check out the new upload of a hydro-electric dam in my extras album.

Thank you for your comments and suggestions, I appreciate them. Thank you for looking.
Neat photo!

@danig @chicago29 @emmytheshort Thank you! I just was not sure about the HDR, not sure if it was enough or too much.

I actually like your touch of the the hdr, I am still not a personal fan where the scene has too much of an unreal quality. I think yours still looks very realistic.

I like the processing

This is an interesting old piece of farm equipment. It would make a nice conversation piece with flowers planted in it. I've seen things similar in people's front yards. I think your processing looks good.

@brumbe @vernabeth @kerristephens Thank you for your comments! I tried to use just enough HDR to show the rust but did not want to make it unreal or comic book like. This is in my mother in laws yard, she used to plant flowers in it, but since she has been sick, she is unable to take care of her flowers like she would like to. It has not been re-planted in a few years.

@rudykess In my in-laws yard in Arkansas., the foothills of the Ozarks. There is another one that I found, but a tree grew around it.
