I spotted this on my way home today. The man was backing the tractor up to hook it to the trailer loaded with hay. It was hazy there this afternoon. It's wonderful that the ranchers were able to grow hay this year, due to the good rains we had in the early spring. They had to truck it in from other states last year. This was kind of a drive-by shot. Taken from the window of my car. I saw it and pulled into the drive for the field.
Thank you for viewing and commenting, I appreciate it.
Great composition in this one; love the way you've caught the row waiting to be loaded; the one on the loader; the bales already on the trailer and the single one in the distance.
Such a gorgeous shot--love the composition. I love to see the hay all rolled like this. (Silly but it reminds me of those big shredded wheats I ate as a kid ; )
@jenniferruge@karenann@hjbenson@turning_40 Thank you! I grew up on a farm, my father raised soybeans and cotton, no hay. But it still brings back memories to see farm work.
@memejanetx3 Thank you and thank you for the FAV! I appreciate it, it makes me glad when a photo "speaks" to someone! @psychographer Thank you for your comment!
