I liked the way the evening sunlight looked on the tree and the butterfly. He was ready to take off at a moments notice.
Thank you for viewing and commenting, I appreciate it.
Today was spent taking my son for more eye surgery, it seems to be helping to restore a bit of vision back to his left eye. No photo ops today.
So good you can see the eyes of the butterfly! I like the spread of his wings too! Hope the boy can get some help with this vision problem. So important!
Thank you Maggiemae, Yvonne and Pam. He is 31, it took several years to find out what is wrong with him. He has a rare disease called Behcet's and it affects every part of the body. No cure. It has really affected his eyes and he is legally blind. They are trying to improve his eyesight in his left eye and save the right one from getting worse. He was a pretty good artist and took excellent photos. He was excited today and so happy because he can now see a bit with the left eye!
Way Awesome!! The shot and the reply above sounds like great news! I feel for your son i know how it feels to live with an incurable disease...I hope only good things happen for him..:)
@ajes My Crepe Myrtle tree must have been the bait. There were a lot of them flying around the tree. They did not light on the flowers, just the tree limbs. I got my best butterfly shots at the Botanical Gardens and from wildflowers growing along the roads.
What an amazing POV. I am sorry I am behind on your photos, and sorry to hear about your son. It is so sad when it takes long to diagnose and to have no cure. I have some problems with my eyes and they go blurry on me and cannot imagine what your son is going through. I hope they can increase what he can see and stabilize him so he can see good enough to take photos and do his art. Sounds like there is some help for him. Thoughts are with you and him as he has surgery.
Oh, Linda, I hope the surgery to help your son's vision problems is successful.
