Longhorn resting in wildflowers

This was the first time I saw a Longhorn resting in the pasture like this. Just sunning and taking it easy.

I was going out the other day & saw over the fence some long horn cows like these, they looked magnificent in the actual flesh.

@vespa180 Andre, yes it is a Texas Longhorn. I have never seen one lie down quite this way. There is another one that lives close by, I need to take some new photos of him, as his horns are really spectacular. ,Thank you for visiting and commenting.

It's unusual to see any cow lie down like this- but a long horn even more unusual! Great catch!
