@phillyphotos Glycerine of any sort really; I used light corn syrup; just a little bit in some warm water and mix until dissolved. :)

2 questions: Did you place the drops onto the feather with some kind of special dropper? Did you use a tripod to get the shot, or is it handheld? Really excellent photo! :)

@juliedduncan Thanks Julie! I applied the drops with a syringe, and the camera is on a tripod. I have two lights, left and right, illuminating the feather.
