As the setting sun plays against new leaves in the background, my little hummer friend pays one final visit to the feeder before calling it an evening.
I know I have some of the brightest people checking up on me, but I still feel compelled to inform you this is best viewed LARGE! :)
This annoys me, yes it does. I have this exact and I do mean EXACT same feeder and yet the only thing I've gotten eating out of it were ants. I got an ant guard but so far no hummingbirds. It's near a gardinia that is about to bloom so maybe they'll find it.
re BVL, and so its is! I always view large, but wouldn't it be great to view large and scroll through the same persons photos without having to go back each time! (like Flickr) Maybe we should start a vote ; )
Just thought I'd let you know that I was given this exact hummingbird feeder today as a present--my eyes lit up and I said, "I know exactly what that is--I saw the most wonderful photo of one on the photography site I belong to!"--Can't wait to see if it will work here. In my thank you email for the gift, I sent a link to your photo--I think they'll agree that the photo (and the feeder) leave very lasting and happy impressions!
