Nicely done Aaron
February 6th, 2014
I don't think I could ever have the patience for something like this. It's brilliant.
February 6th, 2014
love seeing the difference in brightness and even colour of the stars photographed this way. my camera can only d 15 sec exposure max, do you think it would still work If I tried it?
February 6th, 2014
I would love to try this sometime, brilliant shot !!!
February 6th, 2014
Very awesome...I really want to do star trails but a) it's too cold in winter and b) the sun sets too late in summer. Guess I just don't want it bad enough, right?
February 6th, 2014
Fav!
February 6th, 2014
Really awesome image!
February 6th, 2014
@kali66 I think 15 seconds would work just fine! You just have to figure out the exposure you'd need, then take a whole bunch of 15-second shots back-to-back and stack them in Starstax!
February 6th, 2014
great shot!
February 6th, 2014
A FAV! :)
February 6th, 2014

February 6th, 2014
Where did you focus or did you use infinity?
February 7th, 2014
Very cool effect!
February 7th, 2014
And another fav! Gorgeous!
February 7th, 2014
@jgpittenger I had it focused to infinity, which with this lens means pretty much anything past 20 feet :)
February 7th, 2014
Quite the amazing shot Aaron
February 7th, 2014
Wonderful capture. I love the lines showing the passage of time.
February 7th, 2014

Fav....this leaps out of the trending page.
February 7th, 2014
Really amazing shot.
February 7th, 2014
I really hope that this is a filler photo. Tell me that you are not outside at night taking long exposure shots, in this weather.
February 7th, 2014
I really need to get out to Joshua Tree and do this.
February 7th, 2014
Wonderful shot!

@rvwalker Thanks Ross! There was a quarter moon out which brightened up things considerably: http://365project.org/grizzlysghost/the-projects/2014-02-05
February 7th, 2014
@debrac Nope, not a filler! I set the timer to take a shot every 30 seconds and went back into the house. Two hours later, I retrieved the camera :)
February 7th, 2014
@grizzlysghost Glad to hear you weren't standing out there the whole time. I need a camera that I can set the timer for more than one shot...it's coming.

February 9th, 2014
You must be sick of that view by now... No one can be subjected to that much beauty on a day-to-day basis and not be affected by it. Awesome star trails. Fav!
