Emmen

8.22 pm: the gates to the Old Cemetery (1829) in the center of Emmen, a town in the northeast of the Netherlands. It's now in use as a park.

@realjaco and myself are spending the night in a hotel in Emmen tonight, our first night away without our children since August 19, 2009 when we were celebrating our tenth anniversary and I was seven months pregnant with our younger daughter. I miss the girls but it's great to have some one-on-one time with my husband again :)
