11.15 am: Pouring rain this morning so we took the girls to the Cobra Museum in Amstelveen, near Amsterdam. Cobra was a European avant-garde movement active from 1949 to 1951.
The museum was smaller than I expected but we had a lovely time nevertheless. At the entrance the girls were presented with a little art box containing pencils and paper and they sat down to draw at the reading table seen in this shot.
Love this shot - very 'spare' - a Fav. And I love museums that do that for kids - it's the difference between a great day out and a disaster (even now they're teenagers!)
That's great that the girls had something fun to do...win-win for everyone.:-) I love all the glass letting the light stream into the room. Great processing too.
i love the lighting
now i am curious about what would be seen in the cobra museum.
